Halloween Beauty Tips

Having difficulty with your Halloween Makeup? Here are a few ideas. These and many more can be found on

Midnight Bloom:

Begin by applying Antiqued Eye Shadow on the eyelid. Apply Carbon Eye Shadow through the crease, and then use Tete a Tint Eye Shadow to blend all over. Outline the design with Lingering Eye Brows. Use Painterly Paint Pot as a base to begin shading. Focus on small parts of the design and applying shadow over the top before it dries. Continue to sketch out the design using Currant Lip Pencil to insure colour clarity. Apply light colours (Gesso) first, followed by the medium tones (Tete-a-Tint) and finish with the darker shading (Typographic). Fill in the flower and the leaves next. Use cleansing tips to sharpen up edges before shading in areas. To add dimension to the flowers and leaves, use Eye Shadows Flourishing, Copperplate and Tete a Tint (begin highlighting with light colours and then contour with deeper tones in gradual amounts). For waterdrops, use Clarity Eye Shadow and Waveline Fluidline. For the centre of the flower use Liquid Eye Liner in Boot Black. For the leaf and vines, use Dipdown Fluidline. Finish with Light Studio Mist and Fix +. On the lips, use Girl About Town Lipstick with Clear Lipglass for added shine.

Beauty Tips 101

Eyes
1. Plucking your eyebrows in pain, try icing your brows 10 seconds prior to plucking to numb the skin.
2.To get that perfect lash, heat your eyelash curler with a blow-dryer for a few seconds ( make sure it is not too hot before curling ). Heat will lock in the lengthy curl.
3. To AVOID MAKEUP CREASING - Avoid wearing eye moisturizer with shimmer eye shadows, it breaks up the consistency of the shadow and causes creasing.
4. FOR PUFFY EYES - Run teaspoons under cold water, and place on eyes for a few seconds. Close the eyes, then using the rounded edge massage gently by rolling back and forth over the eye area
5. YOUNGER LOOKING EYES -Apply a little eye cream on the brow bone and under the eyes. Then dab on a concealer that matches your skin tone. The last thing to do is line your eyes with a pencil just below the lash line. This will give the impression of larger and brighter eyes!
6. FOR SMOKEY EYES -For natural Smokey looking eyes, smudge in your eyeliner by creating tiny circular motions near the lashes to blend in the color
